Valérie Colas
Executive Assistant
A recent addition to the Sauvé Foundation team, Executive Assistant Valérie Colas is responsible for all that relates to the internal coordination of Maison Jeanne Sauvé. She is also responsible for logistics and coordination of Sauvé events, including all receptions.
Originally from Montreal, Valérie spent her teen years in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. There, she was actively involved with Amnesty International, coordinating over a dozen fundraisers on their behalf, as well as with the Argyll Geriatric Hospital, for whom she instigated a volunteer program that promotes active living and enhances quality of life for seniors.
Valérie founded a student newspaper at her high school, which was entirely run and funded by students. As a college student, she was elected the official representative of Cégep de Sherbrooke at the Salon du Livre Québec (the Quebec Book Fair) as well as juror for her college’s literary prize.
In addition to her work at the Foundation, Valérie is currently completing her studies in Communications and Cinematography at the University of Montreal.
